GrindekS expects from you:
- Higher education in environmental sciences.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, environmental standard LVS EN ISO 14001.
- Experience in the preparation and monitoring of environmental polluting permits.
- At least 2 years of work experience in an environment-related field is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Latvian and English (oral, written), knowledge of other foreign languages will be considered an advantage.
- Technical skills with MS Office (Word, Excel) at a good user level.
- Orientation to results and self-development.
- A high sense of responsibility, pedantry, accuracy.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Your job duties: (according to the job description)
1. Evaluation, updating, development, implementation, maintenance and monitoring of environmental protection documentation.
2. Prepare and submit environmental protection reports, reports, submissions to the State Environmental Service and other responsible institutions.
3. Carry out:
– waste (including hazardous) inventory and removal organization;
– environmental protection inspections in the company’s structural units;
– hazard control of chemical substances used in the company, inventory of chemical substances, labeling checks.
