Grindeks expects from you:

  • At least a bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical technology, or a related field (final-year students are also considered).
  • Good knowledge of laboratory equipment, analytical software, and working in an analytical laboratory.
  • Proficiency in classical analytical chemistry methods (titration, spectrophotometry, water determination in samples, determination of visible and invisible particles in products, determination of sulfate-containing ash in samples, etc.).
  • Preferred knowledge of working with HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS.
  • Technical computer skills at a good user level (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Latvian and English languages.
  • Ability to work in a team, strong work planning skills.
  • A high sense of responsibility for the tasks at hand, adaptability, attention to detail, and precision

Your job responsibilities (according to the job description):

  1. Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of substances and prepared products, as well as research in accordance with analytical methods.
  2. Conduct the validation of analytical methods in accordance with the existing company documentation and ICH quality guidelines.
  3. Prepare experimental batches of the final product according to the given development plan.
  4. Document the obtained results in reports, summaries, or tables, in compliance with SOP and LxP requirements, while ensuring data integrity in analytical work.
  5. Monitor changes in the stock of required reagents, reference materials, and supplies, as well as the calibration dates of necessary equipment, and perform equipment calibration when necessary.
  6. Follow other instructions provided by the supervisor that are not in conflict with the laws of Latvia, LxP requirements, and the job's objectives.
